Bronneberg obtains VCA-Certificate
We regularly hear of industrial accidents that could have been prevented if a safety plan had been in place.
Bronneberg attaches great importance to the safety of its own personnel as well as that of its clients. “In the development of new and modifications to existing Bronneberg recycling machines, we have for many years paid a lot of attention to safety precautions in order to minimize the risk of injury for the user.
In addition, safety on our own work floor as well as that of the external customer is of enormous importance. More and more clients inside and outside the recycling industry require that suppliers are familiar with the current safety requirements and therefore have VCA certification. This was reason enough for us to have our entire organization now take the step to VCA certification,” said Jan Jegerings, of Bronneberg Helmond
VCA is a safety management system to carry out work with an increased risk in our own workshop but also at our customers' premises, in a safer way. The abbreviation VCA stands for Safety, Health and Environment (VGM) Checklist Contractors.
After six months of preparation, Bronneberg obtained its VCA certificate at the beginning of July. By being VCA-certified, Bronneberg complies with part of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and demonstrates to take safety, health and environment very seriously.
